Two Out of Three Ain't Bad

Took 3 exams.  Got 3 sets of results:

The Good:

Apparently, I am ethical enough to pass the Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam (precursor to a law license).  Yay!  Sounds like it would be a piece of cake or a joke.  Not so much.  This was actually my second time taking it.  It’s quite tricky, and you really do have to prepare.  No working off the assumption that you instinctively know right from wrong.  I was pretty nervous about it, actually, so I’m glad I did okay.  It would be a rather large nuisance for me to have to take it again.

Good news.

Even better news?

I FINALLY PASSED THE MOTHER-EFFING CPA EXAM BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That’s right – you’re now reading the brilliant words of Kristen, CPA (well, once I complete the painstaking licensing process anyway…).  I am SO thrilled about this since, as you know, I have been taking this piece of crap exam for the majority of my existence.  And I gotta say (in case you weren’t aware), I was pretty damn sick of it.

But now?

NO MORE!!  ALL DONE!!!  WOO HOO!!!!!!!!

Not only will I no longer have to endure the misery of Regulation, Audit, Financial Reporting, and Business Environment, I’ll probably have twice the disposable income, since I won’t be forking over thousands of dollars a year in test fees.  That’s as good of news as the exam results themselves!

So -

In celebration:

The Bad:

Sadly, God generally doesn’t open windows without first closing doors.  My closed door?  The Bar Exam.  Gigantic Sigh.  Despite my respectable (albeit futile, last-ditch, and somewhat insane) effort at cramming 3 months of studying into 3 weeks, I was not able to pass this beast.  Sucks.  A lot.  I have gone back and forth on whether I will take it again in February, but I have decided that I will.  I am getting my actual scores in the next week or so, so hopefully I can see what I need to work on (and hopefully I wasn’t ridiculously far off…).  Then, I will do it all again come the end of February.  Hopefully, the March 2011 equivalent of this post will reveal a much brighter future for yours truly…

In the meantime though -

In mourning:

The Ugly:

The Bar wasn’t the only fatality this month.  Also out the window went my relationship.  After the beach trip from hell, Deac basically dropped off the face of the Earth.  Oh, he called, but he made no mention of seeing me for 3 weeks.  Since that’s the opposite of what a reasonable person would do if told the things I said to Deac, I decided to cut him loose.  Did it through an unnecessarily nice email (since I LOATHE talking about my feelings), and never heard from him again.  Hasta la vista, Deac!  And good riddance, I guess (as I am taking his lack of effort and response as a personal affront).  NOT having any relationship drama or distractions will definitely make preparing for (and passing, damn it!) the Bar much easier this next time…

Nonetheless -

In memoriam:

Alright, that’s all for now!  Back to work for me.  After my mental quasi-strike, I am über behind.  Snap to, Kristen!  Chop, chop!  Gotta avoid getting fired, at the very least.

Oh yeah - hopefully I’ll have some Random Thoughts for you tomorrow.  It’s been a long time since my mental anarchy has graced you. They’re definitely flying around my head right now, too, just dying to get out…

Latuh!

Back In Black

Yep, that's right!  I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaaaacccccccccccckkkkkkkk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I know you guys missed me terribly, and please know how much I've missed you!  Some of you (well, some of those of you who might actually still follow my lonely little blog after my month-long hiatus, that is) may remember that I just undertook the miserable feat of sitting for the DREADED...

...wait for it...

glitter logo maker - http://www.sparklee.com

Can't promise anyone that I passed (especially in light of my prior academic glory - see: Trash Talk Tuesday), but, I DID survive.  That's something, right?

I have the Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam this Friday, and then I'm done with this crap - hopefully forever. I will find out the results of the bar, the MPRE, and the last section of the CPA exam on roughly the same day (somewhere around August 28).  So, stay tuned - at least for the end of the month. It will either be an AMAZING day, or an incredibly shitty one...

In the meantime, I'm starting a new project.  For the next 12 months I present to you an incredibly exciting (though unoriginal) self-improvement project - the Happiness Project (stolen from the book of the same name).  Much like the author of this charming memoir, Gretchen Rubin, I will focus on a different shortcoming or goal each month and strive to improve my life, and thereby increase my happiness, by making changes in that particular area.  A sneak preview - August, Month 1, will center on energy.  More details to come...

Alright happy people, I am off to bed.  Back to work tomorrow after my 30-day unpaid leave of absence/Studying Extravaganza.  Ugh...

But, before I go, a salute to all the people and things that got me through one HELLUVAN exam:
  • The fine folks at MicroMash and Bar in a Flash.  Love those guys!
  • Microsoft OneNote
  • My dear friend Senor P - for sneaking me those PMBR lectures.  They saved my butt!
  • The nut jobs that dreamed up this gem:

  • Law & Order SVU and the Closer.  (Win the Emmy, Kyra!!)
  • My now ex-Roomie - the Intern.
  • Deac, especially for my delicious celebratory dinner last night.
  • AC/DC
  • This song:

  • This cereal:

  • My wrist-brace, Bengay, and BioFreeze.
  • My laptop, which functioned ALL the way through the race that is the state essay portion.
  • My dear friend Professor E.
  • A lot of prayers from all around.
  • The spacious suite at my ghetto hotel at the test-site, and the delicious salad at the restaurant next door.
  • The view of the horse park that made me want a pony.
  • Coffee and Adderall.
  • This cat:

  • My bed.
  • And last - but absolutely not least since I'd probably be dead or in a padded cell right now without them - everyone out there who believed in me.  You know who you are.
All of my love and devotion to all of the above.  You truly are my Sunshine.

LAY-TUH!

Ain't No Stoppin' Us Now

This post is titled for the song that's playing while we're on our short break from the dreadfully boring conference I'm attending.  Emphasis on the DREAD.  Deac and I hit up Disney this weekend though, as a precursor to the conference (we're conferencing/working in Disney World.  Could be worse, I guess...).  We made it to the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and Animal Kingdom.  I, being the animal lover I am, liked the Animal Kingdom best.  Not surprised by that.  I wish I had pictures to share with you all, but we for some reason didn't take any.  Odd.
I am happy to report that I am getting braver and braver, as it relates to roller coasters anyway.  We hit up the following:

Space Mountain
Splash Mountain
Dinosaur (or something like that)
Whirl O' something or another (in Animal Kingdom)
It's a Small World (okay, so, I know.  But, I thought I'd throw that in there for posterity)

Since I don't have any of my own, here are some pics for you that I stole from the Internet.  Pretend I'm in them, or at least behind the camera:

Back to the conference!  Have a fan-frickin-tastic day!

Highway to Hell

Well, in true Kristen form, I reveled in my glorious morning a bit too soon, and have been summoned back to the office.  Funny how you can work over 100 hours in 8 days and yet still get in trouble for not being at the office (even though you've been working from home since 7:30 am on a HOLIDAY).  So, Deac is back at home and I am here with both Boss-Men.  At least the fact that I cried all the way here is winning me some sympathy points.

Sometimes I hate my life...

Sit and Listen to the Rain

Deac and me, sitting in my office, drinking coffee and reading/working, respectively.  Rupert happily snoozing in between us.  Blues Traveler barely offsetting the rain in the background.  If I were reading (for fun) too, instead of writing about Program Compliance, it would be the perfect morning...

So Alive

Just to let you know that I'm still alive and kicking, and still love you all dearly, I thought I would share the following gem with you.  I miss you all more than you will ever know!  But, work project from hell calls.  It will all be over soon though, and then you can look forward to hearing about Deac's and my adventures in the Magic Kingdom!  Hooray!

Enjoy!

All of my love and devotion,

SS

Days Like This

Wow, what a week.  It's been a bit of a nightmare.  And today - well, ever had one of those days where you can't get ANYTHING right?  That's today.  At least it's pretty much over.  Family drama, work, travel, emails from The Ex, stomach bug, exhaustion...

But, I've survived.

Instead of delving into all that has made this week a total bitch, I've decided to list the positives:
  • My biopsy results from my procedure are normal.  Yay!
  • It wasn't my external hard-drive that was fried, just its cord.  And I had an extra cord lying around.
  • I got my replacement PDA, so I'm not stuck with the piece of shit LG Incite.
  • My little brother got to play varsity baseball, even though he's only a freshman.
  • Despite the fact that I mailed my taxes at the VERY last second, I had an extremely pleasant experience at the post office.
  • I made it home safely from my many hours on the road.
  • All of my coworkers made it home safely from their respective flights.
  • I've learned a lot about some cool stuff.
  • The weather is fabulous.
  • Deac is understanding.
  • My grandfather doesn't have to have surgery (part of the family drama).
  • Tax season is over.
  • I am going to the beach next weekend, come hell or high water.
  • Today is pay day.
  • I ordered my new laptop.  It'll be here next week.
  • I found the cutest wallet ever at Target.
  • The emails from The Ex didn't upset me.  Rather, they made me appreciate stress-free dating. (Thank you, Deac.)
What good stuff has happened to all of you this week?

Monday, Monday

So, here I am, chillin' at the desk in my hotel room, dining on salmon and rissotto, and watching Pretty Wild on E!.  Sounds pretty awesome, huh?  Well, sort of.  This is the good part about working all the time and travelling for work.  When the salmon - and this post - are done, it's back to work.  Gotta love dining on the road, though!

Feeling random today so, even though it isn't Thursday, thought I'd share some random thoughts.  Or, random updates, if you will.

First: The Stinky Dog

Sadly, he has cancer. :(  But, he's doing okay for now, and that's all that we can ask for.  Please keep the prayers coming, and fingers crossed that he keeps feeling okay and is with us for as long as comfortably possible.  We love him so.

Second: Adventures at the Amusement Park

Deac gets some serious props for actually riding the monstrosity I pictured in my prior post.  Holy crap, that thing was scary.  And FRICKIN' HUGE!!!!  You couldn't pay me enough to get on that tower of twisted metal.

Here's another shot:

HEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLL to the nah!!!

BUT, I do want some recognition for riding anything at all.  I bravely got on the following:

Flying Ace Aerial Chase

Thank you very much.  Even though it was me, Deac, and a bunch of 7year olds, I still feel pretty damn good about the whole thing.   Yay me. Oh - and the only crap I ingested was half a bag of cotton candy, a chili-cheese dog, and some fries.  Not that bad, all things considered...

Oh yeah - Deac did NOT win me a prize (lame-o!), but he DID pay for me to have my age guessed by some pimple-faced 17 year old.  I knew that was a sure-fire winner, seeing as most people guess that I'm about 25.  Can't complain about that!   And, I got a super cute stuffed turtle out of the deal. :)

Third: gLee!!!!!!

It's back tomorrow!  I will likely miss it because of work, but that's why God invented DVR. :) CAN'T. WAIT.

Fourth: Sex & The City - Arabian Nights

No good can come of this: http://jezebel.com/5513261/new-sex--the-city-trailer-arabian-nights-redux

Final: Man, Kendra got FAT

As I am wrapping up, an episode of Kendra is on (Pretty Wild having ended at the top of the hour).  It's the episode where she goes to the Super Bowl, and incidentally does this photo shoot:

Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuullllllllllllllll Shit.  There is an astronomical amount of airbrushing in that pic.  Actually, i think there's just a flat-out body-double (at least from just below the boobs down).  She was a CHUNK in this photo shoot.  Did NOT look like this.  Not even close.

This is more like it (and incidentally was taken on March 28):

And there is NOTHING wrong with that.  She had a HUGE baby in December.  But, there is something wrong with that OK! shoot.  I mean, they're presenting her as a diet guru - getting her body back at warp speed.  That's just a lie.  Let her be fat and happy - who cares?  She still looks great.  And her kid is CUTE.  That's all that matters!

Alright, I'm working now.  I hope you've enjoyed this Monday installment of Random Thoughts Thursday!

Randomly yours,

Kristen

Random's Manifest - Thursday Thoughts (A Little Late...)

[RTT.jpg]

Let's all pretend it's still Thursday, shall we?

Chock Full 'O Chocolate

Made it to the Soiree last night (albeit after getting lost and arriving more than a little late...), and had a great time!  There was a silent and a live auction, which served to make me wish (more than I already do) that I was rich.  It's crazy to watch people haphazardly throw down thousands of dollars like it's nothing.  Shit - I can barely pay my power bill!  But, I did get caught up in the "fever" and raise that temptress of a bidding card in order to sponsor a family of four, so they can go to the Museum any time they want for a year.  A hundred dollars well spent, I guess...

There was a great turnout and I think the Museum raised a lot of money.  It was fun!  I can't wait for the First "Birthday" Party they are throwing this summer.  More black tie goodness with the Children's Museum of the Upstate!

My eyes itch, my throat hurts, and my car is yellow.  Damn you pollen!

'Nuf said.

Bye, Bye Betty

So, I've been watching Ugly Betty since it started several years ago (I'm too lazy to look up just how many).  Sadly, it is going off the air next week.  :(  I will miss it!  Mainly because Mark and Amanda are SO funny.  A special salute goes out to Mark, as he went with the Duckie Dale look for Hilda's wedding.  It was subtle - but awesome.  I wonder how many people caught that...

   <--- Mark

Duckie --->

"May I admire you?"

Silly Government!  Timeliness is for competent people!

So I've alluded to the fact that I deal with Federal tax credits.  Well, the government announced yesterday that the credit I work with most has been released, and applications for allocations of those credits are due JUNE 2.  That's six weeks from now, folks.  Normally, you get 3-4 months.  They take roughly 350 hours to complete.  We may prep as many as 10 of them.  There are about five people prepping.  You do the math.

If I'm not around that much in the coming weeks, you know why...

Playlist Du Jour

I get 10 free song credits per month with my Zune pass.  Here's what I'm buying with them this month (so far):

  1. Breakeven - The Script
  2. Ultraviolet - Luke McMaster
  3. Foundations - Kate Nash
  4. Golden Skans - Klaxons
  5. Lost Coastlines - Okkervil River
  6. Captain America - moe.
  7. Float On - Modest Mouse
I need three more.  Any suggestions??

HELL no!  I won't go!

As aforementioned, my life is going to suck for about six weeks - from yesterday on.  So, I can't make it to see Deac this weekend.  Because he's the generous sort, he's en route to visit me instead, so that I might also get some work done while we hang out.  But, this thoughtful compromise comes at a price.  I have to accompany Deac to the local amusement park tomorrow.

Something you should know about me - I HATE ROLLER COASTERS.  I am NOT a thrill seeker, by any means.  It's dangerous enough that I live in my own body!  I'm surprised I'm still standing with the way I drive.   And walk, for that matter...  I will jump a crazy horse over a 4-foot fence, but that's as far as my risk-taking goes.

Yet, I agreed.

Amusement parks have some redeeming qualities, however.  Funnel cakes, for example.  And Dippin' Dots.  And Cotton Candy.  So, while Deac is riding this:

Carowinds :: Intimidator

I will look like this:

(Thanks to Hyperbole and a Half - from whom I stole this image)

And I told Deac he has to win me some lame carnival prize on a game of some sort.  I'll report back on his success (or failure)...

Alright - off to the rest of the day.  Hope you're all FABU!

Love and Rockets!  (I really hope they bring back My Life as Liz, btw...)

K

A sampling from the playlist.  Enjoy!!

PS - Welcome new followers, and thanks for following! And commenting! You guys are awesome! :)

Have Fun, Go Mad

Had a great time at the beach this weekend with Deac.  Relaxing trip - but far too short.  Deac is a HUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGEEEEEEEEEEEE sports fan, though, so there was some college basketball involved in our excursion.  I admittedly don't care all that much.  I can respect the freakish nature of this year's Final Four (with the exception of Duke.  Will they take it all?  Or will an underdog prevail?  As a graduate of Wake Forest Law and the daughter of a Tarheel, I am required by law to hope the Blue Devils fall flat on their faces.),  but that doesn't mean I'm on the edge of my seat in anticipation.  I'm far more interested in Jezebel's March Madness competition: Cake v. Pie.

Reminder: Cake Vs. Pie Voting Closes At 1:55pm EDT
I mean, how awesome is this?  Seriously?  The above results are as of Friday.  They haven't entered into the Final Four on their end yet, but this is a true nail-biter.  Cake.  Pie.  Both delicious, both satisfying, both wonderful in every way.  How do you choose??

Check out today's analysis (by Hyperbole and a Half) to learn why Pie is apparently superior to the frosty deliciousness of Cake.  I do love me some blueberry pie, I admit.  And my late Granny's chocolate meringue.  Good stuff.  But, then there's chocolate mousse cake, or black forest, or carrot.  So much sweetness, so little time/waistline.  Sigh...

I'll keep you guys posted on the results of this epic battle, or you can follow it yourself at Jezebel.  Either way - nobody's a loser in this March Madness!

Have a cake and pie filled day.

Love,

K

Addendum: Elite Eight Results (so far...):

March Madness: Sweet Sixteen Tastes Sour For Pie And Cake Losers

My picks for the rest of the EE: German Chocolate; Red Velvet; Carrot; Boston Creme; Blueberry; French Silk.  We'll see if the next rounds bust my bracket...

Random's Manifest - Thursday Thoughts

[RTT.jpg]

Random, ENRAGED thoughts today.  Why ENRAGED?  Well, read on to find out…

Opening a can of Whoop-Ass

So, I’ve been taking the CPA Exam for most of my adult life, as you all know.  It is by far one of the most miserable things one can do to one’s self.  The test itself is long, tedious, boring, and FRICKIN’ IMPOSSIBLE.  I know millions have passed it, but they are also far more intelligent, focused, and NOT ADD than I.  Many things have gotten in the way of the exam in the past 3 years.  There was that time I was in the hospital with two collapsed lungs and couldn’t take it.  And then there was the time it was scheduled for the day of my Grandmother’s funeral.  Did I get an extension or a refund of the $400 fees for either of those instances?  NOPE.  “No refunds. No extensions.  No exceptions.”  Verbatim, that is what the crazy bitch at the state CPA Exam Board told me.  There’s $800 I’ll never see again.

Now, I found out that my ADD diagnosis should permit me to receive an accommodation on the exam, so I can actually finish it this next time I take it.  So, I go to the doctor who diagnosed me and have him fill out annoying forms and write a letter and everything.  And then I filled out annoying forms and wrote a letter, too.  There are two forms online that pertain to diagnosis.  The first is for a physician – if a physician diagnosed you.  The second is for a “professional evaluator” – or someone who diagnosis learning disabilities like ADD for a living.  I was diagnosed by a doctor, so I got him to fill out the appropriate form.  (Note – it has taken me WEEKS and at least 20 emails to the Bitch to even get to this point.  She was unwilling to even tell me where on the website I could find these elusive forms.  Only that they were out there in cyberspace, and I had to fill them out.  I mean, how hard is it to copy and paste a frickin’ link??)

That should do it, right?  WRONG.  No dice.  Apparently, the diagnosis of a licensed psychiatrist is not adequate.  They will not give me the additional 30-60 minutes I need for the test unless I also get diagnosed separately by a professional evaluator.  What that translates to is $2,000 worth of tests that are NOT covered by insurance.  Understand that I’ve already spent THOUSANDS of dollars on this exam.  (Enough to buy a car, probably.)  So, color me crazy for not wanting to sink another $2K into it.  For something that’s ALREADY been done.  I told her as much, and asked to speak to someone above her.  She’s scrambling now.  We’ll see what comes of it.  Regardless, I’m going to the Board Deputy this time…

End rant.

Rain, Rain STAY AWAY

Deac has VERY kindly and generously offered to whisk me away to the beach this weekend to help me de-stress.  This couldn’t come at a better time, as I am currently shaking from the craziness that has ensued today.  BUT, the weather forecast is not looking promising.  So – everyone out there – cross your fingers that, as per usual, the weather people will be WRONG and we’ll get 75 degrees and clear skies all the way…

Out of the road, my Deer

I almost wrecked the car on the highway the other night when I was driving home from work at 1:00 am, because a Deer was just hanging out on the side of the interstate.  It got me to thinking – first about why deer do that!  Stay in the woods, Mr. Deer!  You’re far less likely to end up in the Roadkill Café if you don’t loiter about on busy freeways.  Then my thoughts moved on to the word “deer”.  It’s one of few words whose singular and plural forms are the same.  In fact, for the rest of the drive home, I tried to think of other such words and couldn’t come up with a single one.  Granted, my brain was a little fried at that point, but still.  Can you guys think of any other words like that?

I’m with Stupid à

As I was heading to Mickey D’s this morning for my large coffee and giant iced tea, I heard a rather amusing tale on the “Strange News” report on the morning show.  Check out the story: http://www.nbcconnecticut.com/news/weird/Calling-Ahead-Doesnt-Get-Bank-Robbers-Far-88999452.html.

Words of advice – if you’re going to rob a bank (which I know has crossed my mind today, as I do my bills…), do NOT call ahead and request that the cash be bagged and waiting for you.  What you are much more likely to receive in that case is a fun filled run-in with the fuzz.  Epic PHAIL.  Idiots.

Prayers for a Stinky Dog

My beagle, Snoopy (I know, we’re so original), a.k.a. Stinky, has been diagnosed with the kind of anemia that is caused by internal bleeding.  We hoped it was his arthritis medicine that was causing the bleeding, but it sounds like it’s more serious than that.  He’s an old geezer, but we love him dearly.  Please pray (or send good thoughts, if you’re not the praying type) for our little stinky dog as he undergoes some diagnostic tests.  Hopefully it’s something that can be treated with ease.

Alright, K out.  If I don’t get this memo done, Boss-Man Jr. is going to give me the ax, and I’ll REALLY have to rob a bank.  Don’t worry though, I won’t call ahead for reservations…

Peace.

This one's for you, CPA Exam Board Lady!

Drive My Car

Yesterday’s "Salute of the Day" (Look to your right - I change that every day.  You may not have noticed.) was dedicated to Deac, and he missed it.  He is distraught, and I think a little suspicious as to whether I actually did salute him.  So, to mollify the Deac-ster, here is yesterday's Salute, in PERMANENT form:

Deac. For teaching me to drive a stick (sort of), after 31 years of never learning how.

There you go, Deac my dear.  I (permanently) Salute You!

Kiss Off

Here's some stuff I've learned today:
  1. I spoke too soon in my tribute to spring, as it ended up being 45 degrees and rainy today.
  2. Even Boss-Man Jr. can lose his "Get Out of Jail Free Because You're a Saint" card if he asks me to spend hours doing every project over again, and then decides he actually likes them better the original way, thus forcing me to spend hours changing them back.
  3. The Facebook virus is still on the loose.  Oops.
  4. Deac isn't a fan of my incessant, pointless emails.  (I can't imagine why!!)
  5. I am a jerk for bitching about my salary.  (This epiphany occurred when I was pulling stats on low-income communities in my city.)
  6. Chargers are actually little plate thingies you put under dinner plates (like trivets).
  7. I won a set of 4 chargers from my friend Sam's blog
  8. If I break my computer, I can get Windows 7 on it, instead of Windows Vista.  Hmm...
  9. Zyrtec-D  makes me VERY. VERY. CRANKY.

    10.  I am not above creating an entire, pointless post, just so I can share                            the above image.

That is all.

I'm So Tired - Part Deux - Part Deux

And the day drags on...

7:30pm - Quit screwing around on blog and actually worked.
7:45pm - Quickly got distracted by boy.  (Was ex-boy, but now friend-boy. NOT The Ex - so don't freak out.  Ex-boy from several years ago.  We shall call him Deac.)
7:55pm - Let my delirium take hostage of my fingers and use them to scare Deac with my neurosis (via IM).
8:02pm - Deac recovered.  Still seems to think I'm cool.  Or, something...
8:06pm - Back to work.  For reals this time.
9:04pm - Wondering why I haven't heard from Boss-Man Jr.  Still no food.
9:14pm - Still wondering...
9:38pm - ...and waiting...
9:45pm - ...and realizing I've been forgotten...
10:01pm - Ask Boss-Man Jr. what happened to him.
Response: GAH!  It's 10:00!!!  I'm still here!!! (At work.  Where I also am.) Where can we go eat? (Boss-Man Jr. is in from a much hipper city in New England.)
Me: Nowhere.  This is Lame-Ville, Southeast, USA.  Nothing's open but IHOP.  (Boss-Man Jr. is of the  health-conscious variety.  Will not consume grease and lard.  I, however, say - BRING ON THE FAT!)
10:10pm - Boss-Man Jr. calls office phone to apologize profusely.  (A little something you should know about Boss-Man Jr. - he's literally the nicest person I've ever met. EVER.  Should be sainted.  It's hard to have a boss that nice, because you're supposed to hate your boss.  It's like a law or something.  But, if you hate Boss-Man Jr., you're basically the Devil incarnate.  It's like hating Mother Teresa.)
10:13pm - I assure Boss-Man Jr. that it is okay.  He bids me adieu.  We shall reconvene in the AM.
10:27pm - (Now.) I am writing this.  And packing up.  And heading home.  Where I shall promptly pass out - God willing.

Goodnight!

(THIS IS FOR ANONYMOUS) :)
